Honoring the Castello

Casalborgone Castle invites you to experience the elegance of silence, a journey toward peace of mind and a conscious connection with nature. We have transformed our property into a place devoid of electronic entertainment, including televisions and music. The only permitted form of musical entertainment is live music. We encourage you to use personal headphones if you want to listen to music or watch content on your computer. We have a strong Wi-Fi connection available if you choose to enjoy this type of entertainment.

The Castello is an unconventional hotel featuring unique, irreplaceable furniture. The furniture, piano, and rugs are antiques and cannot be replaced if they are damaged. We kindly request that you place the drinks only on the tables, avoiding the antique furniture and pianos.
Tea, coffee, and other beverages may be enjoyed in the restaurant areas, at the reception, and in the Cognac room. Any additional requests can be assessed upon submission. The social areas, including the reception, billiard room, cognac room, ballroom, library, and e-cigarette room, are open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight.

The fireplaces in the rooms are for decoration only; please do not throw anything into them.
Guests are requested to maintain respectful behavior, avoiding disturbances inside and around the Castello. Any damage incurred will be the responsibility of the perpetrator.

Rooms & Suites

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. Check-out by 11 a.m. You may request a late check-out for a fee, if the room is available.
We offer luggage storage in case a late check-out is not possible. Please contact the front desk to arrange the service.

We accept all major credit cards.
Cash payments are permitted up to a maximum of €3,000 per person, in accordance with current Italian regulations. Personal checks are not accepted.

Duvets are specifically designed for each room. Please remove the duvets if you do not use them, as they are expensive, unique, and very difficult to clean. Cleaning can cost up to €3,500. Thank you for your cooperation.

You can store valuables in a safe in our office, or you may use the safes in the rooms. Please contact the front desk to make arrangements.

Please lock your bedroom door before leaving or going to sleep. The Castello cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal items left unattended in the rooms.
In cases of unlawful or seriously inappropriate behavior, Management reserves the right to request removal from the property.

Pets

We’re pleased to welcome dogs by special request and upon authorization exclusively in our Bishop and Casa Camelia accommodations. We accept small dogs weighing up to 18 pounds, which can fit in a carry-on-sized bag. Dogs above 18 pounds may be admitted at Casa Camelia, subject to approval. Pets are not allowed in restaurant spaces. In the rest of the hotel, they must be supervised, as the Castello is furnished with unique and irreplaceable antiques. Dogs must not be left unattended in the rooms, and any damage will be charged to the owner. In cases of persistent barking and disruptive noises, the hotel reserves the right to evict the dog and its owners without any refund.
For your stay, we require a daily fee of €85 for each dog.

Dress code and conduct

The dress code at the Castello is smart casual, refined, and aligned with the atmosphere of the venue. Sportswear and overly casual clothing, including tracksuits, shorts, flip-flops, and ripped jeans, are prohibited in the restaurant. Shoes are mandatory inside the Castello and its gardens.

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes, is prohibited inside the Castello. Guests may smoke outside the property or in the designated Vape Room.
